GRAPE: Tempranillo
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero DO.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are hand-selected, followed by a selective optical laser sorting system to achieve impeccable selection: only the finest fruit. During alcoholic fermentation, the lees remained in contact with the skins and were stirred using a patented bâtonnage system. Aged minimum for a period of 2 years using French and American natural oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: Ruby red with purple hues and pronounced tears. Deep nose of dairy, vanilla and leather, integrated with refined oak. Glyceric, smooth and opulent palate with balanced acidity. Fleshy, persistent finish, surprising tannins and hints of toast and dried fruit.
FOOD PAIRING: Perfect for game and red meats, roasted vegetables and meats, lamb chops, foie grass, mature cheese.

Located in Roa village, same place than the central headquarters of the Ribera del Duero Council is located too, the winery is run by locals combining the traditional and historical knowhow of the Ribera del Duero area, with equipment investments to apply the utmost technologies at the wine elaboration processes.
The barrel stock room is composed by 3.000 barrels from the most exclusive barrel houses and artisans, comprising fine-grained oak barrels of French and American origin with different levels of toast that are combined to add the best contribution of toasted and spicy hints to the wines.
