GRAPE: Tempranillo

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero DO.

VINIFICATION: Made with 100% Tempranillo. Hand harvested. Mechanical destimming and temperature controlled soak. Alcoholic and malo-lactic
fermentations in stainless steel vats.

TASTING NOTES: Deep cherry red color. Intense nose of fresh and balanced red berries, with spicy hints. Sweet, fresh and fruity on the palate, with balanced acidity and pleasant finish.

FOOD PAIRING: Grilled Octopus, Manchego cheese, Roasted Chicken, Steak, Filet Mignon, or to enjoy it on its own.

This new-to-the-scene, premium winery is located on the ‘Golden Mile’ in Ribera right next to the legendary Vega Sicilia.  This is the most sought-after terroir in the entire, already-popular appellation.  That land, combined with careful, modern winemaking makes is making this boutique Bodega very, very special –  an up-and-coming superstar.S

ince its foundation, the philosophy and objectives of Tábula were well defined, the main thing was the vineyard, a 22-hectare estate between Olivares and Valbuena de Duero, where the winery is built. Later, the “La Morejona” farm will be incorporated, with an area of 4ha and planted in 1959 in Roa de Duero, and other farms in La Horra and Anguix, until a total of 70 ha are currently completed. Being one of the differentiating characteristics respect for the fruit and the search for the essence of our terroir, the terroir, it is in the vineyard where our wines are born.
